Went thrifting this weekend and was hugely successful! I've been on the lookout for high-waisted jeans and blazers, and I found some! The high waisted jeans because they fit my body shape best and blazers because I'm trying to slowly build a "professional" wardrobe.

Week 1: A bunch of nothing (which is good)
Alright, we're officially over a week into the new year, and the thing is going well so far.
By the thing I mean the project.
Despite many enticing sales lately, I've not bought any clothes whatsoever since January 1st. (and i didn't really buy anything before that either)
However, I do have plans to go thrifting sometime next week, so you can expect an update then.
I haven't decided yet what item of clothing I'm going to make this month. I have a few ideas bouncing around but no real attachment to anything. The knitted hat I started 2 months ago is FINALLY finished and resembles a tote bag. My oversized stuffed cat loves how warm it keeps its ears!
So anyways, expect an update on the DIY situation next week too.
